Trinity Wives Fellowship

Today was a crazy day for me. My previous class of kids moved on to Kindergarten on Friday and Monday, I started a whole new class (with no prep time to get ready, mind you). But, we managed to get things together and the first day went better than I thought it would with a bunch of new 4 year olds! Then, after my full and crazy day at work, I had my first Bible study at Trinity. I have a great co-leader that I have been getting to know better and we seem to be a great fit! We met our group of 8 women, but were missing a few, so it'll be nice to meet them in two weeks. We have a nice group of women that are international, national, newly married, those with more married years under their belt with kids, as well as those new to trinity and returning wives. The three small groups will meet as a large group in one room on campus for worship (which was led by Kate and I), treats, and announcements. Then, we break into our small groups and have our Bible study and prayer time. Tonight I planned an ice breaker called Shared & Unique and it helped us to see our similarities and unique traits within the group. After the ice breaker, Kate led an Ephesians overview and we closed with prayer requests and prayer for one another. A Trinity professor's wife will be going back and forth between our group and another, so it's nice to have an experienced wife in the group and she said that things went really well tonight, which was wonderful to hear! Anyways, I will keep you updated on the Bible study and what I've been learning from these women as we go through this crazy time as Trinity Wives!

Dear Anika,
Thanks much for sharing and recounting up front the blessings and joys of this VERY LONG DAY! Yes...you were carried! By his grace and strength!
Thank You Lord, that Anika and Jonathon have strength for all things in Christ Who empowers them [They are ready for anything and equal to anything through Him Who infuses inner strength into each of them; They are self-sufficient in Christ's sufficiency]." (Phil 4:13 AMP)
For all You did for Anika and all she touched, I stand in awe...

Oh Anika,I knew when you two got married that God was going to use both of you for His service. And now see what He is starting in you?
It is good for you to follow His call. I pray for you and Jon every day and trust God to keep you in His will and that you're safe.
Thanks for sharing your thoughts.
