I saw this commercial and burst out laughing because I can totally relate with the boy! Now although it wasn't on Valentine's Day, I know that this happened to me where a boy would show me worms or frogs and my response was, "Wow! Cool! Let me see!" With the big V-Day coming up, I realize that really, I don't need anything that all the commercials say, but maybe my Boy and some special time together.
One last thing, with my kids, we talked about what Valentine's Day means to them and what traditions they might have. A lot of kids talked about how they spend time with their families whether it's going out for a special breakfast or making each other cards. One thing that I love is that Valentine's was always a special family day that we spent together and made each other feel loved. I especially loved getting surprise carnations delivered at school from my dad and the special breakfasts from my mom. Such special memories, and many more to come, I'm sure!
Happy soon-to-be Valentine's Day!

It's so cute and funny. Those of us who teach young children know how differently little ones react to certain situations. Valentine's Day was fun at our house, too. The kids always got treats when they were little and spending money when they got older. My mom used to make dinner a little more special that day.
PRECIOUS video!
Loved your remembrances, too! This year V Day TOTALLY snuck up on me! (and a few other people that I've heard from) Hence, no Valentine letter! Again, I am sorry. But a small additional leftover surprise awaits you! Can you possibly guess?! it is very silly...
